Its surface displays a smoky grey, textured background overlaid with vibrant, diagonally arranged stripes in blue, yellow, red and green. The result is a lattice-like motif reminiscent of tapestry-like gobelins. This piece is a beautiful example of the Bauhaus period, with its emphasis on angularity and clean lines, while also reflecting Art Deco influences. This vase is an early work by the then-young designer for Schramberg. It remains in very good condition, with no damages.
