This elegant piece combines Austrian modernism with Viennese fine cabinetmaking craftsmanship. Crafted from walnut, it features a removable tray with well-defined brass handles. The cart is beautifully proportioned, with a clean, linear yet charming form, while the walnut showcases a rich and varied grain. The bar cart is in very good condition, having been professionally and carefully restored with great attention to preserving its original vintage character. All three glass surfaces—two on the cart itself and one on the tray—are intact and undamaged. This piece is a wonderful example of authentic Austrian Mid-Century design. Width 29“,depth 16\", height 26\" Haerdtl studied with Oskar Strnad and Josef Frank, and later assisted Josef Hoffmann before taking up a teaching position at the Vienna Academy of Applied Arts in 1949.
