Leopold Anzengruber
Leopold Anzengruber (1912–1979) was an Austrian ceramicist born in Steyr. After training and working with ceramics in Florence, he returned to Austria and established his Viennese ceramic workshop after the Second World War. He became known for expressive glazed figures, animals and sculptural vessels that combine folk-art references with mid-century modern design.
