Friedrich Goldscheider
Friedrich Goldscheider (1845–1897) founded the Goldscheider Porcelain Manufactory and Majolica Factory in Vienna in 1885. The company became one of Austria’s most influential ceramic manufacturers, producing terracotta, faience and bronze objects. Across three generations, Goldscheider created thousands of models associated with Historicism, Art Nouveau and Art Deco.
