An exquisite and remarkably large Biedermeier wall mirror from Vienna, Austria, dating to around 1850. Measuring an impressive 39 × 59 inches, it features a gracefully profiled and scalloped cherry wood frame, distinguished by its rich grain and elegant curvature. The original mirror plate has been preserved and features a beautifully beveled edge. The mirror has been carefully and professionally restored, preserving its authentic antique character and patina. It remains in good condition, displaying only minor, charming signs of age acquired over more than 170 years. The original mirror glass is free from cracks or other damage and shows only a few tiny spots in the silvering. We consider these charming witnesses to its long history rather than imperfections, and they do not affect the mirror's appearance or functionality.
