Kalmar Lighting, J.T. Kalmar
Kalmar was founded in Vienna in 1881 by Julius August Kalmar as a producer of handcrafted metal objects. His son Julius Theodor Kalmar, known as J.T. Kalmar, took over in 1913 and transformed the company into an important modern lighting manufacturer. Trained in Birmingham and at the Vienna School of Applied Arts under Josef Hoffmann, J.T. Kalmar collaborated with architects including Josef Frank, Oskar Wlach, Ernst Plischke and Oswald Haerdtl.

Up to three identical huge Austrian Mid-Century Atomium chandeliers, designed and executed by J.T. Kalmar Vienna in 1969. Vey impressive pieces, made of nickel-plated metal with nice ball lampshades made of clear class with small bubbles. In excellent condition, 20 sockets and an extra long rod, which can be shortened easily. Please notice, that there are three matching chandeliers available, the price is per piece. Meassurements: diameter 29 in, height of the light: 30 in, total height incl. rod: 80 in.
